The Bay State Blues  women's hockey team is composed of Massachusetts women who are mostly in our 50s who love to play hockey.  While a few of us are true "mothers" of hockey - women who have been playing since high school and college - most of us started after watching our kids have a wonderful time on the ice. We average about five years of skating experience.

We play for a number of different teams during the regular season but came together when we heard that USA Hockey was planning on offering, for the first time ever, a Women's Over 50 division at a national tournament (USA Hockey and LaBatt Blue Adult Non-Check (Over 50) National Championships in Brandon, Florida).
